PAPWORTH POLE

The Papworth Pole is a drip stand which can be attached to any walking frame, removing the need for patients to have to learn to move around with a separate drip stand and walking frame. The Papworth Pole allows any patient, especially acute post-operative, more freedom and control over their movements, it allows physiotherapists and occupational therapists to undertake their work with the patient without the encumbrance of a walking frame and separate drip stand. Designed in conjunction with physiotherapists at Papworth Hospital, this new and innovative product helps patients to be safely mobile more quickly.
The Papworth Pole is easy to fit, secure and stable, it is designed to carry bags and pumps without impeding movement, is height-adjustable and attaches to any standard walking frame. It can also be used for other post-operative items including chest drains and pumps and can be used as a bedside/chairside stand when the patient isn't mobile.
